What to Expect
Before the appointment you will be getting some paperwork, this will include a medical history form. and a "day of protocol" that will need to be followed.
You will come to the appointment, which will be in a temperature controlled room. The reason thermography is done in a specific temperature controlled room is because when the breast area is cooled blood vessels of healthy tissue respond by constricting to conserve the heat, while tumor tissues and its surrounding blood vessels stay hot. Acclimation takes 20 minutes.
We then proceed in taking the images, once completed I will go ahead and send the images to our interpreting thermography doctor.
When the doctor is finished he will send me the report of findings, at that point you and I will arrange a time to go over the report, as well as, address any questions you may have, this can be done over the phone and is included in the package.

What this includes: 31-33 images. The complete breast image series, face, neck, upper chest wall, abdomen, upper back, shoulders, upper back, arms, hands, low back, gluteal, upper legs, lower legs, feet, and full spine.
